Bridal Makeup.

Bridal makeup is tricky only because you have to satisfy so many different situations: the bride viewed in real life from close-up and from a distance; the bride viewed in photography from color to black and white; the bride viewed on video tape; in the day-time ceremony and the night-time event.

How do you make sure, if you are that blushing bride, that your makeup works from the moment you step into the car taking you to the ceremony until the time you step back into the car many hours later. The first thing to do is to find a professional makeup artist. Make sure that you look at his or her portfolio so that you can settle on a look you like. Then, at least two weeks before your wedding, go for a rehearsal. Once you're satisfied with the application, have a digital picture taken of yourself and look at it on a screen large enough to simulate the size of a photograph.

A common mistake that brides make is to wear too little makeup. What looks good to you when you look in a hand-mirror may well disappear on camera or from a distance. Mineral makeup is ideal for brides because it doesn’t look like makeup and gives that natural, dewy look that’s so flattering for brides of all ages.

I totally agree with you about the mineral makeup. I got married a couple of years ago, before that I hadn't really heard about mineral makeup, well I tried it for my wedding and it pretty much made my day! It looked beautiful.

This is so true. Thank you for this great Mineral Makeup. I can tell the difference in my skin everyday.

I like the Loose Powder Foundation, because it has a little glow to it. The Pressed Powder Foundation is great too, but it is more of a matte finish. Either way, I prefer this makeup line over any other.

My favorite type of foundation in this line is the Pressed. It looks very natural, but has great coverage.

I’ve been using the Jane Iredale Pressed Powder foundation for about a year now, and I’ll continue to use it everyday as long as I can afford it. Cover Girl foundation is what I wore for years, and I was introduced to this line by a friend. Now I know why good cosmetics cost so much, and why I pay that much for it every 5 months. This mineral makeup feels, and looks so natural. It lasts forever, and I get complements on my skin everyday. I have a lot of hyper pigmentation, and this makeup evens it all out. I have more confidence about my un perfect skin in this airbrushed world. lol

I use the Pressed Powder also, and I get complements on my skin all the time.

The wonderful thing about this Mineral Makeup is it never looks heavy even when you cake it on.

I recently got married and my husband really loved my make-up on the day of our marriage. I have rough skin, and it always breaks out at the worst opportune times. Especially when I am stressing about something, or very excited. I came across this site called VillageGreenMarket.com and they offer a wide array of Organic Skin Care Products that don't make your skin break out, and are healthy for your body. It was a life saver for me, and made my day go by very easy. I am glad that there are scientist out there that find new and improved lines of make up and skin care for our new generation. Keep up the good work. I love all the posts that you make.
