Step #1: Choose the Concealer That’s Right For You

Active-Light™Under-eye Concealer, like all of our products, is free of binders such as talc. As a result, there is no need to pile on product and risk creasing or accentuating fine lines.

The mineral particles in Active Light™ create a soft-focus effect and change the way light is reflected from the skin, camouflaging any sign of fatigue and concealing dark circles.

As an added bonus, studies have shown the percentage of Buckwheat Wax in Active Light™ may even reduce puffiness around the eyes. And its convenient pen packaging allows for a mess-free application anywhere, anytime!

But what if the ActiveLight concealer isn't right for me? I have very dark, genetic, circles which do not go away no matter how much sleep I get. ActiveLight did not provide enough coverage for my bruised-looking eyes. I prefer the Disappear concealer. Will you be talking about the other concealers in future blogs?

Hi Jane. I love your line and frequently read your blog! I just started my own blog devoted to high-performing green beauty products, Eco*Pretty: ecopretty.blogspot.com.

I'd love to see you develop a tinted moisturizer--kinda like your Liquid Minerals but with a SPF and geared toward younger skin!

I have a question about thi product. I recently got Jane Irendale Active light concealer. The salon I bought it from said i could it on my face as well not just under the eye. Is that correct - will it clog my pores? i tend to have combination skin (some areas its dry others areas like my cheeks i have larger pores) I usually like to put some concealer on my cheek area --can i use this one?

Jane, sorry to bump an old post, but I would like your shade advice for someone oriental like me - very pale light skin, yellow undertone. All concealers I have used have been yellow, and make my eyes look puffy. Am i choosing things too light? I generally just want to bounce light off my circles, and soothe that sensitive area. Thanks for any feedback :)

When using under eye concealer, it is best to use a shade that is lighter than your skin tone, but not too light. Using a shade that is no more than two shades lighter works best. Also, applying less is more when it comes to our products!

Either Circle/Delete #1 (yellow tones) or Active Light 1 and/or 2 may suite you. The best way to choose is to visit one of our retailers to test out the product http://iredale.know-where.com/iredale/. Good luck!
